Absolutely have loved making these little mirror compacts:

5 Years in the making

I'm not joking.....  It's been one of those projects that has been waiting for so long for me to finish.  I had originally backed the quilt with another fabric.  By the time I had finished, I realised the fabric was see through so unpicked the whole lot and started again.  

I used a vermicelli stitch over the whole quilt and made my own bias binding.  It literally took me 5 years to get round to finishing it off and now I am not so sure I like the busy fabric and have turned it on the other side.  Anyway here is the finished article making the obligatory washing line outing...
